Snows of an Early Winter
This is an early draft of the cover for our next Call of Cthulhu book Snows of an Early Winter (formally titled October Surprise). Written by Lou Agresta, famously known as Cthu-Lou on the Atomic Array podcasts, it’s an exciting, creepy and just plain fun adventure set in modern day New York City during election season. The cover artwork was done by Gary Simpson and the interiors (sample below) were done by the always amazing Jason Walton.

Very interesting. How difficult would it be to convert this to a 1920′s setting?
It wouldn’t be hard at all and we give guidelines for doing so in the adventure.
I love running NY in the 20s. There is such a wealth of support material — especially photos — on the web. I made sure that many of the key locations in Snows have a 20′s/30s and earlier presence. That way a few downloads from wikipedia and you have some awesome, scene-setting, handouts for your investigators.
